The Wilson Recreation Center located on West Campus is the larger of the two recreation centers on campus. A 99,000 square ft. facility completed in 1999, the center boasts three basketball-volleyball courts, 2 wood floor multi-purpose rooms with mirrors that are used for a variety of aerobic classes, yoga, Pilates, martial arts and self-defense activities. These rooms are also used by Group Fitness, PE classes and dance groups. The center also houses two classrooms and administrative offices. An average of 3,000 users visit the center per day. The varsity swimming and wrestling programs also practice in Wilson. The administrative offices for Facilities, Campus Recreation, Intramural, Club Sports and Health, Wellness and Physical Education (HWPE) are located in Wilson. Wilson offers a 3 lane indoor 160 meter mondo track, 2 racquetball courts, Quenchers, a snack bar that provides healthy drinks and snacks following a tough workout or when you are craving a refreshing alternative.
