Fitzpatrick Center model

Project Details

Opened in 2004, the four-building, 322,000-square-foot facility expands the Pratt School of Engineering's partnership with the School of Medicine by providing laboratories for collaborative research in health care, genomics and biotechnology.

On the first floor is the 206-seat Kenneth T. Schiciano Auditorium reflecting the latest multi-media technologies and design. It is the primary setting for everything from major symposia to academic instruction.

The Fitzpatrick Center earned LEEDâ„¢ Silver Certification and includes features like low-flow toilets, a 70,000 gallon rainwater cistern, and a 15% reduction in building energy use from a reflective roof and tinted windows.
